Yi Kwan is a junior researcher at PortCityFutures. Her research is focused on developing human-centred approaches to port city transitions, building cultural resilience, and integrating cultural considerations into urban development. She is currently working on a project supported by the Resilient Delta initiative, exploring outside-in perspectives on port city transitions in Rotterdam and their potential impact on cultural resilience. Previously, Yi Kwan worked in an art archive in Hong Kong, specialising in digitally preserving a local artist's collection. She holds an MA in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MSc in Human Geography and Urban Studies from the London School of Economics. She also obtained a BA in Art History and Comparative Literature from the University of Hong Kong.
