Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication
Amanda Brandellero is Associate Professor at the Department of Arts and Culture Studies at the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication. She gained her PhD in economic geography from the University of Amsterdam and studied urban and regional planning at the London School of Economics. Her research has focused on the nexus of culture, place and the economy. Her current research project, funded by NWO, is entitled Crafting Future Urban Economies. It explores how more sustainable urban economies can be supported by crafts and local making, with attention to the reuse, recycling and repurposing of materials and skills.
